ANU Romaine Rutnam Scholarship

ANU Romaine Rutnam Scholarship 2019 offered by the Australian National University for women from Sri Lanka to pursue their Ph.D. at the university. The value of the scholarship is $30,000 per annum for three years and covers tuition fees, a stipend for living expenses, health cover, leave provision, and fieldwork allowances.

Eligibility:

• Applicant must be an international candidate;
• Must have applied for admission to a Ph.D. or Professional Doctorate by a Research program at ANU
• Must have applied in the areas of public health, social justice, ecological sustainability or conflict resolution or a related area;
• Must have a Bachelor degree with first-class honors or a Master degree with a research component or equivalent 
• Must have a research proposal with a clearly articulated aim to help foster the resilience of Sri Lankan communities
• Must be a female candidate who is a citizen or permanent resident of Sri Lanka.

Required Documents:

• A two-page maximum (A4) research proposal 
• CV or resume;
• 3 references we may contact, including at least 1 referee from a tertiary academic institution.
