Academic Medical Centre is offering AMC MD/PhD Scholarship to students who wish to pursue an MD/Ph.D. at the University of Amsterdam.
Eligibility for AMC MD/PhD Scholarship:
- Applicants must have started earlier and are without unnecessary study delay.
- Candidate should obtain a Bachelor's or Premaster degree in Medicine before January 1, 2025.
- Applicants must not yet start clinical internship rotations, and will not start their clinical internship rotations before March 1, 2025.
- Applicant must have Started the Bachelor’s degree program in Medicine in the academic year 2021-2022
Documents required:
- A letter describing reasons to apply and how they meet the requirements.
- Application form with research proposal and list of publications.
- CV along with a bachelor's degree transcript or an equivalent degree.
- Written confirmation from the intended Ph.D. supervisor.
- Letter of recommendation from a PI of AMC.
Value of the Scholarship:
The MD/PhD scholarship covers the costs of the salary of an MD/PhD student for two and a half years, plus limited additional research expenses.
