Overview
The fellowship aims to support research projects that engage with European cultural history, make direct reference to primary sources in Weimar, and promote the academic use of local collections and archives.
Eligibility Criteria for Weimar Fellowships:
Applicants must:
- Have a clearly recognizable connection to the holdings of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar.
- Possess appropriate academic/scientific qualifications.
- Propose a project with scientific significance and relevance for research.
Application Process:

- Research proposal (maximum 5 pages).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Two letters of reference.
Value of the Weimar Fellowships:
- €1,500 per month as a stipend.
- Accommodation: May be offered in Pogwischhaus, subject to availability.
- If not available, applicants must arrange accommodation themselves.
- An additional allowance of €500 per month is provided for self-arranged housing.
