Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarship at University of Auckland 2024

The main purpose of the Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarships at the University of Auckland is to support postgraduate research in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in a medical field, particularly in a field relating to cancer research.

Eligibility Criteria for Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarships at the University of Auckland 2024:

• Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a sub-doctoral or doctoral research program in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.
• Sub-doctoral applicants must be enrolling in both Semester 1 and 2 in the award year.
• Sub-doctoral students enrolled in an extension are not eligible.
• DHSc students must have completed no more than 24 months of full-time equivalent DHSc enrollment at the time of application.
• MD and PhD students must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time equivalent MD or PhD enrollment at the time of application.

Value of Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarship at University of Auckland 2024:

Up to two scholarships will be awarded annually for a period of one year, up to a total value of $20,000.
