The main purpose of the Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarships at the University of Auckland is to support postgraduate research in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences in a medical field, particularly in a field relating to cancer research.
Eligibility Criteria for Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarships at the University of Auckland 2024:
- Applicants must be a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a sub-doctoral or doctoral research program in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.
- Sub-doctoral applicants must be enrolling in both Semester 1 and 2 in the award year.
- Sub-doctoral students enrolled in an extension are not eligible.
- DHSc students must have completed no more than 24 months of full-time equivalent DHSc enrollment at the time of application.
- MD and PhD students must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time equivalent MD or PhD enrollment at the time of application.
Value of Edna and Denis Moloney Scholarship at University of Auckland 2024:
Up to two scholarships will be awarded annually for a period of one year, up to a total value of $20,000.
