Eligibility for International Excellence Scholarships (South Asia):

Applicants must:

  • Hold an unconditional offer to study an eligible Undergraduate or Master’s course at Swansea University starting in 2025/26.
  • Be self-funded (not sponsored by a government, sponsor body, or third party).
  • Have course fees of at least £16,000.
  • Demonstrate academic excellence and potential contributions to Swansea.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • Up to £5,000 for the first year of study.
  • Undergraduates achieving 70%+ in Year 1 may receive an additional £2,000 in Year 2.
  • Postgraduates: Award is for first year only.
  • Scholarship is for tuition fee reduction only, not cash.
  • Combined university scholarship awards cannot exceed £7,000.
