Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE) Industry Funded Higher Degree Research (HDR) scholarships 2022

Eligibility:

• Students must be prepared and willing to do research that is pertinent to the Australian government and pharmaceutical industry. Students having prior degrees in disciplines like health economics, health policy, public health, epidemiology, health systems and informatics, or digital health are probably included in this group.
• If they can demonstrate an original research concept that is pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry and government, other students who have studied outside of these subjects are also eligible to apply for the scholarship.
• Students need to be very proficient in the English language. Candidates must have a master's degree (by coursework, inclusive of research methodology units) with a distinction average to be considered for the combined 2nd year Master of Research plus Ph.D. program.
• Ph.D. candidates must also exhibit an interest in research about health care, as well as analytical and writing abilities that are reflected in their research output (i.e. peer-reviewed publications).
• If Ph.D. candidates can demonstrate equivalent through their capacity to do independent research through publications in peer-reviewed journals, they may be spared from having to produce a completed Master of Research, Master of Philosophy, or Masters with a major research component.
