Overview

The objective of the Global Citizen Scholarship offered by MPOWER Financing is to support and encourage students who possess an outgoing personality, to enroll to study at any Canadian or USA University.

Eligibility for Global Citizen Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be enrolled or admitted to an MPower Partner College in the US or Canada.
  • Applicants must be classed as international students.
  • Applicants intending to study in the US must fulfill one of the following criteria:
    • Has a valid visa that permits study in the U.S.
    • Is protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
    • Is a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder)
  • Applicants intending to study in Canada must fulfill one of the following criteria:
    • Is a Canadian permanent resident
    • Has a valid Canadian study permit

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must complete the online application form to be considered for the scholarship.

Value of Global Citizen Scholarship:

The successful applicants of Global Citizen Scholarship will receive an award as follows-

  • Grand Prize: $8,000
  • First Runner-Up: $2,000
  • Second Runner-Up: $1,000
