Eligibility for the Science Global Ambassador Scholarships - China:
- Applicants must be International students and citizens and residents of mainland China.
- Candidates should be commencing their first semester at UQ and are commencing an approved Faculty of Science program (minimum one-year duration).
- Students should have met the conditions of your offer by the scholarship closing date (you do not need to accept your full offer by the scholarship closing date) and demonstrate strong academic performance in their previous studies.

A 300-word personal essay showcasing your ability to advance research in your area as a global ambassador
Selection criteria:
- Academic performance (based on the academic credentials you submitted in your UQ Faculty of Science program application).
- Capacity to contribute to science as a global ambassador in your region (based on the personal statement you submitted in your scholarship application).
