John Monash Scholarships recognize excellence and leadership and celebrate one of Australia’s finest leaders: General Sir John Monash. Scholarships are awarded annually to outstanding Australian graduates to support them with postgraduate study at the world’s best universities. Successful applicants have demonstrated excellence in their field, and leadership potential, and are motivated to contribute to a better Australia.
Eligibility for John Monash Scholarships:
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens.
- He/She must have completed or is about to complete a Bachelors's degree.
- Candidate must be interested in enrolling at an overseas university to study post-graduation.
- John Monash Scholarships are not restricted by gender, age, or academic field of study.
Documents Required:
- Applicants must submit their academic transcripts at the time of application.
- Applicants' photos must be submitted as well.
Selection Criteria:
- The applicant must be able to demonstrate outstanding intellect with excellent academic merit.
- An honors degree with a classification of 1 or 2A or equivalent is considered for selection.
- Excellence in other areas such as music, language skills, and publications is preferred.
- Applicants with leadership skills within or outside the field of study.
Value of the Scholarship:
The successful candidates of John Monash Scholarships will receive funding of AUD 70,000 per year for a maximum of three years up to AUD 210,000.
