One of the three Master's programs provided by the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission is the Commonwealth Distance Learning program. For our online MSc in Dementia Studies, the University of Stirling can provide four scholarships for distance learning. At the University of Stirling, attendance is not necessary.
Eligibility for Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships at the University of Stirling:
- The candidate must be a British Protected Person or a citizen of one of the qualifying Commonwealth nations, or they must have been given refugee status by one of these nations.
- The candidate needs to live permanently in a Commonwealth nation that is still developing.
- At least an upper second-class (2:1) first degree is required of the candidate. In some circumstances, consideration may be given to a lesser degree and adequate relevant experience.
- Without this scholarship, the candidate must not be able to pay for their studies in the program.
Application Process:
Before applying for a scholarship to Commonwealth Scholarships, candidates must apply to the University for the MSc in Dementia Studies. Before the Commonwealth closing date, candidates must have an unconditional offer of a spot in the University of Stirling's MSc in Dementia Studies to be eligible for a grant. The candidate must fill out an online application form to apply for the scholarship Applicants must first apply to one of the nominating organizations; direct applications for these scholarships are not accepted by the CSC:
