My name is Dr Achyut Kanungo and I hereby express my profound interest in University of Edinburgh scholarships for online learning Masters programmes offered during the academic year 2024-2025 specifically for MSc Surgical Sciences. I am a medical graduate from India who aspires to be an academic surgeon with the aim of contributing towards national and international surgical academia. From my humble middle-class background, pursuing a career in surgery has been a financial struggle. Nonetheless, I have consistently been an outstanding student with multiple medals and distinctions throughout my medical school. Eligibility for Edinburgh Surgery Online Global Scholarships:

Applicants must:

Be a national AND resident of a Low-income or Lower-middle-income country (LMIC) according to the World Bank country classification.
Have applied for the MSc Surgical Sciences programme at University of Edinburgh.
Have received at least a conditional offer of admission for the programme.
Preferably hold an unconditional offer by the scholarship deadline.

Value of the Edinburgh Surgery Online Global Scholarships:

Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees, subject to satisfactory progress.
