Overview

Throughout the award, the recipient is expected to participate actively in UWE Bristol's student body and will be expected to represent the university through ambassadorial activities. Recipients will also be asked to actively participate in the UWE Bristol Alumni Network by assisting the university in promoting its programs to prospective students after graduation.

Eligibility for the Chancellors Scholarship:

  • The candidate must have earned an undergraduate degree that is equivalent to a British first.
  • The candidate must have an unconditional or conditional offer where the requirement being that the candidate pass the IELTS exam or have comparable English proficiency.
  • The candidate must be a first-year student at UWE Bristol who has never studied in the UK before.
  • For fee purposes, the candidate should be classified as overseas.
  • The candidate cannot be a student under sponsorship or the recipient of another scholarship or prize.
  • Official transcripts must be submitted by the applicant at the time of application.

Value of the scholarship:

The successful applicants of the Chancellor's Scholarship will receive 50% of tuition fees.
