Overview

The Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, Government of Maharashtra, is offering the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Maharashtra 2024/25 to students in Class 11 and above who fall under the SC/Neo-Buddhist category. The purpose of this scholarship is to lower the dropout rate from educational institutions while also giving students financial support. In addition to other perks, the chosen students will receive a maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200 per month.

Eligibility Criteria for Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Maharashtra 2024/25:

  • Students need to be a domicile of Maharashtra.
  • Students should belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC) or Neo-Buddhist community.
  • Students must be studying in Class 11 and above.
  • Students should have completed SSC or equivalent matric.
  • Students must have an annual income less than or equal to INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
