Pierre J. Durand Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship at Laval University 2023-24

Objective:

This program aims to recruit new candidates for the 3rd cycle programs of the Faculty of Medicine and to help professor-researchers welcome more students to improve the performance of their laboratory. We also encourage Aboriginal students who are registered in a postgraduate program at the Faculty of Medicine to apply.

Eligibility for the Pierre J. Durand Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship:

• Applicants must be admitted or have submitted an application for admission for the first time in winter 2024, summer 2024 or fall 2024 in a third-cycle program at the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval, with the obtaining of a master's degree or the equivalent.
• Candidates must not benefit from any nominative scholarship of more than $15,000. However, the student agrees to apply for grants from other organizations.
• Scholarships are not transferable to another program, another faculty, another university, or another candidate.

• Cover letter (1 page maximum)
• CV of the student candidate (2 pages maximum)
• Transcripts (Capsule accepted)
• Master's degree or equivalent (if completed)
• Short summary of the research project (half a page maximum)
