Eligibility Criteria for Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst Stipendium for Doctoral Students 2026:

Applicants must:

Be a member of a Protestant church.
Hold a completed degree giving entitlement to a doctorate.
Have above-average study and examination performance.
Be admitted to a doctoral program at a university in Germany.
Foreign degree holders may apply if admitted to a doctorate in Germany.
Not be in the final phase of their doctoral project.

Value of Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst Stipendium for Doctoral Students 2026:

Monthly stipend: €1,450
Research allowance: €100 per month
Additional support: Childcare allowance for children under 14, possibility of a subsidized parenting year
