Overview

The Royal Geographic Society offers two research grants for students undertaking geographical research in the Greater China region.

Eligibility:

  • Candidates must be registered with a UK Higher Education Institution.
  • Candidates who have not previously had the opportunity to study in the Greater China region will be given preference.
  • Candidates must take up field research relevant to their studies.
  • Fieldwork will be taking place in the Greater China region.
  • Fieldwork in the Greater China region must greatly benefit the research work.

Application Process:

  • Applicants must complete the RGS-IBG grants program application form. 
  • Applicants of the Hong Kong Research Grant are required to provide two referee statements.
  • Candidates must submit a copy of their CV with appropriate experiences and expertise.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates will be awarded a grant of GBP 2,500.
