The Project
A Ph.D. research position is currently open in the Novo Nordisk Foundation-funded project "SEED FOOD: Functional and appealing plant seed storage proteins for sustainable foods." The University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Technical University of Denmark (DTU), and the University of Le Mans in France (ULM) are the project's main collaborators, and places are available at all three institutions. Professor Marianne Nissen Lund, Department of Food Science, UCPH, is the project's coordinator.
Responsibilities and tasks in both Ph.D. programs
- Carry through an independent research project under the supervision
- Complete Ph.D. courses corresponding to approx. 30 ECTS / ½ FTE
- Participate in active research environments, including a stay at another research institution, preferably abroad
- Teaching and knowledge dissemination activities
- Write scientific papers aimed at high-impact journals
- Write and defend a Ph.D. thesis on the basis of your project
