Cancellation and Refund policy for the MentorTalk service

Refund policy if user is unsatisfied with the services provided

  • If you are not happy with the mentor’s advice or service provided to you by the MentorTalk platform, please contact us with the registered email ID and the reason for dissatisfaction within 24 hours of the service completion. After receiving the details, your conversation with the mentor will be reviewed by the support team and further explanation might be required from both the parties. Based on the relevance of your reason for dissatisfaction, the support team will decide on the percentage of refund given to you. It may vary from a full refund to no refund. Any decision on the percentage of refund is at the sole discretion of and decision of shall be final and binding.
  • After the refund percentage is intimated to you, refund procedure will start within 2 working days.

Refund if user doesn’t receive a reply from the mentor

If the Mentor is not able to serve you due to some unexpected circumstances, then you may not receive a reply from Mentor. In such situations, you’ll be refunded the full amount paid.

Cancellation of the MentorTalk service

You are only allowed to cancel a service within 24 hrs of booking provided your conversation with the mentor has not begun or been completed. In such cases, you’ll be eligible for 90% refund due to payment gateway charges. To cancel a service, please contact us with the registered email ID and the reason for cancellation.

Cancellation of any service by the company

WeMakeScholars reserves the right to refuse or cancel any service requested by providing a reason for doing so. This shall be regardless of whether the service has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The 100% payment shall be refunded and the user shall be informed of the same.

If the amount you pay for a MentorTalk service is incorrect regardless of whether because of an error in the price posted on the website or otherwise communicated to you, then will have the right to cancel the booked service and refund you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of whether because of human error or a transactional malfunction on the website.
