Deakin University is providing potential South Asian foreign students with outstanding academic records with a tuition cost reduction.

Eligibility for Deakin International Merit Scholarship (South Asia - Onshore):

  • The applicant must be a potential international student at Deakin University pursuing a coursework degree.
  • Applicants must be residents of Australia and be citizens of India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, Mauritius, or Bhutan. An authorized Deakin onshore agent must have also hired them. Applicants must also meet the academic and English criteria for admission to the program of their choice.
  • The applicant should not have taken up any further Deakin bursaries or scholarships.

Value of the scholarship:

  • 20% fee reduction: The most recent academic research found an overall equal WAM of 70–74.9%.
  • 25% charge reduction: The most recent academic research showed an overall equal WAM of 75%+.

Application Process:

Upon submission, all prospective international students will be automatically evaluated for the scholarship and informed of the results. Filling out an application for a scholarship is not required.
