Faculty of Arts Doctoral Scholarship at the University of Auckland was established in 2015 and is funded by the Faculty of Arts.

 Eligibility for the Faculty of Arts Doctoral Scholarship:

• Faculty Of Arts Doctoral Scholarships are open to applicants from all nationalities.
• Students are required to either enroll and take up their Scholarship within six months or in rare cases to have obtained approval from the Dean of the Faculty of Arts for a delayed take-up time.
• The applicant's academic merit is measured by the grade point average or grade point equivalent obtained in the undergraduate honors degree and postgraduate degree.

Selection Criteria:

• Applicants' academic caliber is assessed during the selection process.
• Candidates applying for Faculty Of Arts Doctoral Scholarships should submit a statement of research that is evaluated on its quality and intent by the selection committee.
• The applicant's Curriculum Vitae is assessed.
• The panel also verifies the references presented.
