  • The candidates should be studying science and engineering fields and should have an excellent record of achievement in their field of study.
  • The applicants should be willing to stay abroad for at least 3 months.
  • The candidates applying for Marshall Plan Scholarships should consult their universities for the process preparation, contractual and financial issues, or rules of participation.
  • The proposals will be submitted by the partner universities of the foundation.

Application Process for the Marshall Plan Scholarships, 2026:

  • Applicants must identify a suitable host university and faculty supervisor.
  • Applicants must secure research supervision from both the host and home universities.
  • Applicants must prepare and submit the complete application documents to their university’s International Office.
  • The university submits the application to the Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation.
