Eligibility for The Capstone Editing Early Career Academic Research Grant for Women:
- Be a woman.
- Be employed as an academic staff member in a research position at an Australian or New Zealand university (teaching-only or professional staff are not eligible).
- Be employed full-time or part-time, on a continuing or fixed-term contract (casual staff are not eligible).
- Be an early career academic:
- Holds a PhD and graduated within the past six years, or
- Began a continuing/fixed-term academic position for the first time within the past two years.
- Have a research project intended to lead to publication (journal article, book chapter, or book).
- Previous recipients of this grant may not apply.
- Employees or contractors of Capstone Editing (or family members) cannot apply.
- Previous unsuccessful applicants may reapply annually.
Value of the Grant:
Up to A$5,000 to cover research-related expenses.
