CNESST Scholarship In Labor Law And/or Occupational Health And Safety Law 2023

Objective:

The scholarship is meant for writing or the recruitment of a top student for the dissertation, essay, or master's program in law, or for the doctoral program in law, whose research area is related to one of the areas covered by the mission of the CNESST, namely pay equity, occupational health, and safety, or labor standards.

Eligibility for the CNESST Scholarship In Labor Law And/or Occupational Health And Safety Law:

• Candidates must be admitted in the winter or autumn of 2023 to the Faculty's Master of Laws program, dissertation component, or Doctor of Law program with a research focus on labor standards, health and safety,, or even pay fairness.
• As per Financial Aid for Studies, candidates must be enrolled full-time (12 credits) or have documentation of this status at the time of scholarship awarding (fall 2023).
• Those who meet the requirements of Université Laval's Policy about student parents and who are enrolled part-time (6 to 11 credits) may be eligible for this competition.
• Students need to be well-versed in academics and have the backing of their research director.

Documents required:

• A description of the research project of no more than two pages
• A description of the funding obtained for the study program
• The research director's evaluation form
• A letter of recommendation from a referee (professor, employer)
• Final transcripts of university studies (bachelor's or master's degree, depending on the program concerned)
• A resume.
