Overview

The objective of the Gaza-Palestine Postgraduate Taught Scholarship is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality to enroll and study at the University.

Eligibility for The Gaza-Palestine Postgraduate Taught Scholarship:

  • Be a citizen of Gaza or have been one prior to the escalation of the conflict in October 2023.
  • Be self‑funding and classified as an overseas (international) student for tuition fee purposes.
  • Have not previously studied outside of your country of residence or hold a qualification equal to or higher than a Master’s.
  • Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Sheffield for a one‑year, full‑time postgraduate taught master’s course commencing in September 2026 before the scholarship deadline.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The 2026 scholarship covers the cost of tuition, accommodation in a single occupant en-suite room in University halls of residence and a maintenance award of £5,000.
