The scholarship was established in honor of Professor Mike Walker OBE, whose name is closely associated with Royal Holloway's Information Security Group (ISG). Professor Walker played a key role in the establishment of the ISG Smart Card Center in 2002, which is still operational today.

Eligibility Criteria for Royal Holloway The Professor Mike Walker OBE Scholarship:
