The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Maharashtra, launched the State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship, Maharashtra 2023–24, to offer financial aid to postgraduate students enrolled in government schools, colleges, and non-agricultural universities. As part of this scholarship program, 76 selected students will get INR 250 per month.
Eligibility Criteria for State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship, Maharashtra 2023/24:
- Students need to be a domicile of Maharashtra.
- Students should be graduates from government institutes and colleges/non-agricultural universities of Maharashtra.
Students must have been admitted to a PG course in one of the following government colleges:
- Elphinstone College, Bombay
- Institute of Science, Bombay
- Ismail Yusuf College, Jogeshwari
- Sydenham College of Commerce
- Govt. Law College, Bombay
- Rajaram College, Kolhapur
- College of Science, Nagpur
- Nagpur Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur
- Vidarbha Mahavidyalaya, Amravati
- Govt. Arts and Science College, Aurangabad
- Mumbai University
- Pune University
- Nagpur University
- Kolhapur University
- SNDT Women's University
