Summer and Winter Vacation Research Scholarship Program at Monash University 2026

Monash University offers the Summer and Winter Vacation Research Scholarship Program to provide students with hands-on research experience during university vacation periods. The program helps students explore research opportunities and develop skills for future honours study, research careers, or academic pathways.

Eligibility for the Summer and Winter Vacation Research Scholarship Program:

• Applicants may be of any nationality.
• Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate or a postgraduate program at an Australian or New Zealand higher education provider.
• Applicants must have completed at least the second year of an undergraduate degree.
• Applicants must not be full-time employees of Monash University.
• Applicants enrolled in their final semester are ineligible.
• Applicants must exhibit good academic standing.

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must select from the eligible projects and apply for the research scholarship.
• The candidates can select up to three choices.
• They must provide a PDF copy of their academic record by the application closing date by email to sebs.csu.documents@monash.edu.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are granted an award that is disclosed at the discretion of the university.
