Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship 2021

About the Scheme:

Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship is administered by the Government of Jharkhand with the aim of equipping the next generation of leaders, decision-makers and opinion makers with the skills and knowledge to drive change and contribute to the economic and social development of the country.

Eligibility for the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Munda Overseas Scholarship:

• Applicants should have 55% marks or equivalent grades in Bachelor's degree for Master/ (M.Phil) degrees.
• Candidates should have experience of 2 years in teaching work/professional work in the concerned subject is desirable. (Those applicants who have experience will be given priority.)
• Applicants who have obtained a Master's / (M.Phil) degree from abroad will not be eligible to get a scholarship under this scheme for studying the same level of course again.
• The age of the students to be covered under this scheme should not be more than 40 years as of 1st April of the relevant year.
• The applicant should be a local resident of Jharkhand state and for this, it will be mandatory to attach the residential certificate issued by the competent authority along with the application.
• Income Limit: To get benefits under this scheme, the total family income of the applicant, the applicant's parents/guardian should not exceed Rs.12,00,000/- (Twelve Lakh Rupees) per year. It will be mandatory to provide a copy of the Income Tax Return along with the application.
