Purpose:
To assist women students enrolled in a University of Waikato research masters qualification of at least 120 points with a research thesis of at least 90 points.
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must be women who, at the time of applying and be enrolled full- or part-time and doing their thesis paper, which must be worth at least 90 points.
- Candidate must be a New Zealand citizen or have held permanent residence for at least two years.
Selection criteria:
- The Awards Committee of the Waikato Graduate Women Educational Trust will administer the Award.
- The award is primarily made on academic merit.
- The number of awards is subject to the availability of funds and the standard of applications. If, in the opinion of the Committee, applications are not of an acceptable standard, no award will be made.
- The Committee’s decision is final.
