  • The Australian Government is offering scholarships to nationals of Ghana to pursue masters at selected Australian universities in the fields of Public Policy (including infrastructure, economic policy, trade, policy), Extractives and Natural Resource Management (including mining-related subjects), Agricultural Productivity, Environment, Health, Education, and Gender.
  • The applicants for Masters Awards for Ghanaian Students, 2018 should nationals of Ghana.
  • The candidates should be mid or senior career professional working in the above-mentioned fields in the public sector.
  • The applicants should be aged between 25 to 50 years.
  • The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years postgraduate work experience in a role relevant to the proposed field of study.
  • The applicants with more experience will be given preference.
  • The candidates should have a bachelor's degree of 4 years with at least a 2:2.
  • The applicants for Masters Awards for Ghanaian Students, 2018 should not have or be studying a masters degree.
  • The candidates should return to their current employment after completion of the scholarship.
  • The recipients of Masters Awards for Ghanaian Students, 2018 get full tuition fees, a stipend of AUD 30,000 towards living expenses, Overseas Student Health Cover, and economy class flight to and from Australia.
  • The recipients will also get AUD 5,000 to assist in starting life in Australia and commencing the course.
