The John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship supports outstanding rugby union players by combining elite sporting development with higher education.

Eligibility Criteria for John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship at Bond University:

Applicants must:

• Be an Australian resident eligible to represent Australian Rugby.
• Meet the academic entry requirements for their chosen program.
• Have experience playing rugby at a high level.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and community involvement.
• Be applying for, and not yet have commenced, a diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree at Bond University.

Value of John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship at Bond University:

Recipients receive 100% tuition remission for an eligible diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree, plus a living allowance of AUD $20,000. Two scholarships are awarded annually.
