John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship at Bond University 2024

The John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship, in partnership with Rugby Australia and former Wallabies Captain John Eales AM, is designed to support two outstanding rugby union players (one male and one female) with 100% tuition remission for any single diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree at Bond University. Additionally, recipients will receive a living allowance during their enrollment and will be mentored both on and off the field to prepare them for life beyond rugby.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant:

• Must be an Australian resident eligible to represent Australian Rugby.
• Must meet the academic requirements for the chosen program.
• Should have experience playing rugby at a high level.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and community involvement.

Value of the Scholarship:

• 100% tuition remission for any single diploma, undergraduate, or postgraduate degree.
• Living allowance totaling AUD 20,000 during enrollment.
• Mentoring on and off the field by elite athletes, coaches, and top-level teams.
• Networking opportunities with industry professionals and global connections.
