The Canadian University Dubai (CUD) pledges to provide an inclusive learning environment and to support the cognitive, emotional, and creative development of students with disabilities. Special needs may be justified by physical or other disabilities. The primary objective of the scholarships offered by Canadian University Dubai is to promote the recruitment and retention of high academic achievers. 

Eligibility criteria for the CUD Special Needs Scholarship:

Applicants must:

  • Be students with physical or other disabilities that impact their learning experience.
  • For new applicants: The scholarship committee will assess the applicant’s academic average on a case-by-case basis.
  • For current students: A minimum CGPA of 2.0 is required to apply for the scholarship.

Note:

  • Fall semester applications must be submitted by July 7th; Spring semester applications by December 20th.
  • Special Needs Scholarships do not apply for summer semesters.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the CUD Special Needs Scholarship:

The Special Needs Scholarship provides a tuition reduction of up to 40%.
