KU Leuven's PhD Scholarships for Researchers from the South 2023

The KU Leuven of Belgium is offering  KU Leuven's Ph.D. Scholarships for Researchers from the South to encourage the embedding of the research within the concerned nation, a co-promoter associated with a university or research institute from that country must be involved. The number of Ph.D. Scholarships for Researchers from the South is FIVE.

Eligibility for KU Leuven's Ph.D. Scholarships for Researchers from the South in Belgium, 2022:

• Must be a citizen of a developing country according to OECD-DAC list.
• Must be enrolled as a Ph.D. researcher at the University.
• Articulate Project Proposal.
• Demonstrate Academic Excellence.
• Not applied for Global Mind Ph.D. Scholarship.
• Ph.D. Thesis must be defended within four years.

• Curriculum Vitae (CV) of applicant.
• Identification and CV of KU Leuven Promoter.
• Identification and CV of the promoter from the university in applicant's home country.
• Project Proposal.
• Letter of Motivation.
• Previous publications.

Value of KU Leuven's Ph.D. Scholarships for Researchers from the South in Belgium, 2022:

• Stipend of up to EUR 1,000.
• Full Tuition fee waiver.
• One time Travel allowance.
