Alan Davidson Scholarship at University of Kent 2024

When he created Hayes Davidson in 1989, one of the most well-known and reputable visualization businesses in the world, Alan Hayes Davidson was a pioneer in the field of architectural visualization. He passionately embraced the philosophy that excellent team visualization facilitated the realization of excellent architecture; this philosophy permeates the studio's operations. Alan Davidson was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in 2012, and in 2015 he founded the Alan Davidson Foundation. Established in 2021, this scholarship is supported by the Alan Davidson Foundation. "One of Alan's last desires was to help a student pursue a degree in architectural visualization at a university as he was a strong supporter of education. Every year, a home student who demonstrates exceptional promise and skill is given the £10,000 prize.

Eligibility for the Alan Davidson Scholarship at the University of Kent:

• This Scholarship is open to all nationals.
• For the academic year 2023–2024, the applicant must have received an offer for the University of Kent's MA Architectural Visualization program.
• Strong communication abilities, both in writing and speaking, are required of the candidate.

• A CV;
• A supporting statement of no more than two A4 pages (any statement exceeding this limit will not be accepted); and
• A portfolio of art and/or visualization work, demonstrating artistic vision and skill.
