The Barbara Raw Masters Scholarships for English is named in honor of a former Royal Holloway student and rewards high-achieving students of English. Two scholarships are available for full- or part-time postgraduate students with Home or International fee status studying a taught Master's in the Department of English.

Eligibility for the Professor Barbara Raw Masters Scholarships for English 2026:

Be a Home or International student.
Hold an offer for one of the eligible Master’s (MA) programmes.
Have achieved or be expected to achieve at least a 2:1 degree (or equivalent).
Apply through the applicant portal and submit a scholarship statement.
