Eligibility Criteria for Glynis R. Thompson Bursary at Aberystwyth University 2026:

• The applicant should be classified as an international or a home student.
• The applicant must hold an undergraduate degree of at least 2(1) (final year students can apply).
• The applicant’s undergraduate degree must include at least one of the main languages taught in the department (French, German, Italian, or Spanish).
• The applicant should be studying a course in the Department of Modern Languages

Application Process:

• The eligible candidates must submit a 500-word research proposal (not including bibliography).
• They must then send the applications to the central departmental address modernlangs@aber.ac.uk with the subject line Glynis R. Thompson Bursary.

Value of the Bursary:

The successful candidates are awarded a bursary of GBP 1,000.
