Eligibility for the Monash University International Merit Scholarship:

  • Applicants must identify as international students.
  • Applicants must secure an unconditional offer of admission from the university.
  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's program at a Monash campus in Australia.
  • Applicants enrolled in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) course or the Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD) are ineligible.
  • Current Monash students are ineligible to apply.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates are automatically assessed for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • $15,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) paid per year until the minimum number of points for your degree is completed (For scholarships awarded from 2026).
  • $10,000 per annum (48 credit points of study) paid per year until the minimum number of points for your degree is completed (For scholarships awarded pre 2026).
