Eligibility for the Tianjin Government Scholarship:
- Be a citizen of a country other than China and be in good health.
- Meet degree and age requirements:
- Bachelor applicants: high school diploma, under 25 years old.
- Master applicants: Bachelor’s degree, under 35 years old.
- Meet language proficiency requirements:
- Chinese-instructed programs: HSK-5 with minimum score 180 (native Chinese or prior study in Chinese exempted).
- English-instructed programs: TOEFL ≥80 or IELTS ≥6.0 (MBA: TOEFL ≥85 or IELTS ≥6.5; native English or prior study in English exempted).
- Have good conduct, physical and mental health, and be willing to abide by the laws of China and Tianjin University.
Prize/Benefits of Tianjin Government Scholarship:
- Bachelor First Prize: Tuition 20,000 RMB, Living allowance 1,400 RMB/month (10 months), Comprehensive medical insurance 800 RMB
- Bachelor Second Prize: Tuition 20,000 RMB
- Master First Prize: Tuition 30,000 RMB, Living allowance 1,700 RMB/month (10 months), Comprehensive medical insurance 800 RMB
- Master Second Prize: Tuition 30,000 RMB
