Scottish Association for Marine Science Ph.D. Studentship, 2018 is open to candidates who wish to work on "Surveying the marine environment for microplastics using a novel hyperspectral infrared camera on a UAV".
Eligibility criteria:
- Applicants of Scottish Association for Marine Science Ph.D. Studentship, 2018 can be of any nationality but international applicants will be awarded the studentship if it has not been possible to recruit a UK candidate.
- Successful candidates will modify a mid-range Infra-Red (mid-IR) hyperspectral camera that they developed at Rutherford Appleton Laboratories.
