Regent's University is pleased to be able to provide this award to one student each term in collaboration with author Robert McKee. After spending thirty years teaching and guiding screenwriters, poets, novelists, playwrights, documentary filmmakers, producers, and directors worldwide, Robert McKee, a Fulbright Scholar, is the most popular lecturer on screenwriting in the world.

Eligibility for Robert McKee International Screenwriting Scholarship at Regent's University London:

  • This scholarship is open to all nationalities
  • This scholarship is open for students enrolled in an eligible Undergraduate program
  • Eligible Programs: BA (Hons) Screenwriting and Producing and BA (Hons) Screenwriting and Producing with Foundation.

Application Process:

Applicant needs to send a 1,000-word statement responding to the following topic together with a five-minute short film script in proper screenplay style:

  • ‘Why would being a Robert McKee International Screenwriting scholar be important to you?’ 

The statement and script should be sent as attachments to study@regents.ac.uk by the applicant. Applicants must provide their student number, country, and full name in the email.
