Dublin City University is offering DCU Ph.D. Positions in Sensor Technologies, 2017 to candidates who are interested in conducting research at the University.
Eligibility criteria:
- There are two projects and the eligibility criteria vary for both of them.
- Project 1: Generic Chemical and Biosensor platform development for monitoring water quality in the Burrishoole catchment:
- Applicants of DCU Ph.D. Positions in Sensor Technologies, 2017 are required to have an honors degree with an overall grade of at least 2.5 in analytical chemistry, mechatronic engineering, biomedical engineering, physics-based subject.
- Applicants with previous experience in engineering or analytical methods and an interest to pursue research are encouraged to apply.
- Project 2: 'Comparison of eDNA versus antibodies as approaches to novel biosensor development for the Burrishoole catchment:
- Applicants of DCU Ph.D. Positions in Sensor Technologies, 2017 must have obtained or expect to obtain an honors degree with an overall grade of at least 2.1 in a Biology based subject.
- Applicants with previous experience in molecular biology methods and an interest to pursue research are encouraged to apply.
