You need to start by checking to if the University of Auckland offers a hydrology and water resources course. If they do and you are planning to pursue your education at this university, then you are eligible for the scholarship. You don't need a separate application form for this scholarship, you will automatically be considered for a scholarship upon getting an admit from the university. Eligibility Criteria for University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarships 2026:

Applicants must:

Be applying for enrolment in their first doctoral programme (PhD, DMedSc, DClinPsy, DocFA, EdD, DHSc) at the University of Auckland.
Meet all requirements for admission to the intended doctoral programme.
Be domestic or international students eligible to pay domestic fees.
Not have previously held a University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarship or declined an offer for one.
Comply with regulations regarding scholarship tenure, enrolment status, and additional income/work.

Value of University of Auckland Doctoral Scholarships 2026:

Tax-free stipend: up to NZD 35,468 per year (2026), adjusted annually for CPI.

Application Process:

No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
