• The applicants for Auckland University of Technology - Academic Excellence Scholarships in New Zealand, 2023 should be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
• The candidates should be full-time students or accepted as students for undergraduate programs.
• The students are expected to have excellent leadership qualities and academic merit.
• The candidates should apply for any other AUT's undergraduate scholarships like AUT New Horizons Scholarship, AUT Vice Chancellor’s Significant Student Scholarship and meet the eligibility criteria.

Documents required:

• The students applying for the Auckland University of Technology - Academic Excellence Scholarships in New Zealand, 2023 should submit a personal statement describing academic goals, why they wish to attend AUT and their career aspirations.
• The applicant must submit two reference letters. One referee must be from school, workplace, sports club, cultural group. Another referee should be from the principal's nominee or the principal.
• Predicted IB score should be included by the principal if the student is studying IB.
• The candidate should submit NZQA results copy for year 12 or above i.e. CIE (Cambridge), IB (International Baccalaureate) or NCEA results
• The applicants are expected to submit a copy of their highest qualification if they are applying directly from the school.

• New Zealand AUT-NCUK Excellence Scholarships are divided into the following categories: New Zealand AUT-NCUK South East Asia Excellence Scholarships - Value $10,000 New full-fee paying international students with South East Asia* citizenship, who are currently enrolled in the NCUK New Zealand Global Education Pathway Programmes (International Foundation Year, International Year One, or Pre-Master’s Programme). *South East Asian countries: Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam New Zealand AUT-NCUK Global Excellence Scholarships - Value $3,000 New full-fee paying international students with citizenship from countries other than South East Asia, who are currently enrolled in the NCUK New Zealand Global Education Pathway Programmes (International Foundation Year, International Year One, or Pre-Master’s Programme).
