For exceptional international students, the University of Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships provide an unmatched chance to attend one of the top institutions in the world and live in one of the most diverse cities in the world. The goal of the scholarship program is to honor students who stand out for their outstanding academic performance, inventiveness, and leadership qualities within their school. 

Eligibility for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program:

  • Applicants must be classified as international students.
  • Applicants must be in their final year of senior secondary school in 2026/2027 or have graduated no earlier than June 2026.
  • Applicants must be commencing their studies in September 2027.
  • Applicants must exhibit outstanding academics.
  • Applicants who contributed to their school and community are highly preferred.

Application Process/Deadline:

Applicants must apply to be considered for the scholarship.

  • School nomination deadline: October 9, 2026.
  • Student OUAC admission application deadline: October 16, 2026 
  • Student scholarship application deadline and documentation submission deadline: November 6, 2026
