Overview

Undergraduate and graduate students in the Faculty of Science who complete a work-integrated learning (WIL) placement as an entrance requirement for a course or program at UQ are eligible to apply for this grant, which offers financial aid.

Eligibility for Faculty of Science Placement Enabling Grant at the University of Queensland:

Applicants must:

  • Be a domestic or international student in accordance with the University’s fee policy.
  • Be enrolled in at least a 50% course load in the approved program in the year of award.
  • Be undertaking placement(s) of at least 120 hours total (combined) duration in the year of the award.
  • Demonstrate financial need (Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, etc.)
  • Demonstrate the financial impost associated with your placement.
