Eligibility for University of Exeter - GREAT Scholarships:

• To be eligible for a postgraduate (taught) program at a UK institution, the applicant must hold an undergraduate degree (for this scholarship at the institution of Exeter, often the equivalent of a UK upper second-class degree).
• The ideal candidate for a UK postgraduate program will be driven and capable academically.
• The candidate must fulfill the UK university's English language proficiency requirements and be employed in the field with work experience or demonstrated interest in the subject matter.
• In addition to acting as an ambassador for UK Higher Education by highlighting the benefits of studying at a UK HEI, the applicant should be prepared to embody the UK Higher Education experience by participating in extracurricular activities and attending lectures and tutorials. e 
• The applicant must be prepared to show how the lessons learned from graduating from UK higher education will contribute to capacity-building and socioeconomic growth in the future.
• As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, the applicant should be willing to periodically speak with prospective candidates about their own experience of studying in the UK. The candidate must also be willing to stay in touch with the British Council and serve as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships by sharing experiences of studying in the UK with future GREAT scholars.
