The successful candidate should:
- Hold one of the following qualifications and experience I have an Australian First Class Bachelor (Honours) degree; (ii) a coursework Masters's degree with at least a 25% research component; (iii) a Research Masters's degree; or (iv) equivalent international qualifications.
- Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement in plant ecology or plant physiology
- Demonstrate a willingness to conduct field research in remote locations
- Be enthusiastic and highly motivated to pursue advanced-level studies
- Possess superior written and verbal communication abilities
