Andrew J. Swope Equity and Justice Scholarship Fund at Georgia State University 2025

The Andrew J. Swope Equity and Justice Scholarship Fund's goal is to provide eligible graduate students at the Urban Studies Institute financial assistance.

Eligibility for the Andrew J. Swope Equity and Justice Scholarship Fund:

• Graduates students pursing a masters or doctoral degree in the Urban Studies Institute in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University.
• Award can support one or two students as determined by the scholarship committee at the Urban Studies Institute.
• The award is renewable for consecutive years upon completion of scholarship application.
• Successful applicants should demonstrate commitment to equity and justice.

Value of the Andrew J. Swope Equity and Justice Scholarship Fund:

The scholarship disbursement will be $5,000 per year.

Application process:

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the General Application Form to be considered for the scholarship.

Applicants should write an essay outlining their experience in and commitment to equity and justice.
