The PhD scholarship is funded by an ARC Discovery Project grant that looks into computational methods for using ionic liquids to improve the stability of biomolecules.
Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have a first-class Honours or 2A Honours or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline of chemistry, physics, or mathematics.
- Be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or international student meeting the minimum English language requirements.
- Provide evidence of adequate oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary research team.
A strong background in Linux, DFT, and molecular dynamics simulations is highly desirable.
