EIT, in collaboration with the University of Oxford, is dedicated to nurturing the future of global technology innovators and leaders. The Ellison Scholars program completely subsidizes the tuition fees for undergraduate or graduate studies at the University of Oxford and also provides a substantial stipend to cover all living costs, in addition to compensating for the value of paid internships.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants can be of any nationality.
  • Applicants must contribute to one of the following projects of EIT:
    • Health & Medical Science Projects,
    • Food Security & Sustainable Agriculture Projects,
    • Climate Change & Clean Energy Projects,
    • Government Innovation & Era of Artificial Intelligence Projects.
  • Applicants must work on a year-round project along with their university studies.
  • Applicants must choose the preferred undergraduate program of study at the University of Oxford.
  • Applicants must have their skillsets aligned with technology.
  • Applicants must meet the University’s English Language requirements for their chosen undergraduate degree.
  • Applicants must have a secondary education/high school leaving qualification, diploma, or certificate accepted by the University of Oxford.

Application Process:

  • Candidates must first apply online for the Ellison Scholars Program.
  • The candidates will be invited to apply to the University of Oxford if selected.
  • Candidates who receive an offer of study from the University of Oxford automatically become Ellison Scholars finalists.
  • In the final stage, applicants need to attend an interview.

Value of the Scholarship:

  • The successful candidates are awarded the following benefits:
    • Full tuition,
    • Accommodation and food costs,
    • Additional living costs for studies,
    • The equivalent of paid internships for work on innovation projects,
    • Travel between a Scholar’s home and Oxford each year,
    • Any additional travel as needed for the program, 
    • Initial set up funds.
